About Department

Biotechnology Department of Barkatullah University was established in academic year July 1997.Department was started with just 10 students initially. After which Department increased the no. of seats in PG Degree course to 30.Department offers PG Degree course in Biotechnology and also run Ph.D. programs in various research domains in Biotechnology. In the short span of 9 years Department has achieved many milestones in research & development of the vast field of Biotechnology. Now Department is a well known name in the field of Biotechnology in Central India.
